The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Marks clear; engraving clear.
Wear on high points. Some scratching and pitting consistent with age and use. Inside of bowls slightly matted.
The 1747 one with two small bruises to foot-rim which does not affect stability. Rim of cover slightly bent on small section. Two small holes at junction of bowl to base.
The 1750 one: seam line visible. Cover does not shut tightly.
