Suivant les traces de son aîné, il réalise des pièces élégantes comme ce fauteuil à la silhouette harmonieuse qui rappelle un ouvrage de son frère reproduit dans L'art et la manière des maîtres ébénistes français au XVIIIe siècle de Jean Nicolay, p. 81, fig. d.
