As stated in the catalogue, stamped twice 'MIGEON' to the back of the backrest.
The backrest is slightly distorted by the cane.
There are some construction cracks especially to the uprights of the backrest.
There are some traces of woodworms apparently inactive, now refilled with ‘gomme-laque’ paste.
There are some minor losses to the carving especially to the upper flower of the front right foot.
There are some black stains especially to the armrests and to the sides of the backrest.
Mechanism: as stated in the catalogue, this armchair is equipped with a mechanism that allows to move forward and turn by means of two cranks.
There are two sliding iron bars in the armrests, probably to place a tray or a shelf on.
There are some traces of oxidation and some scratches.
