The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Very good overall condition.
There are the inevitable minor surface scratches consistent with the age, the material and handling.
Natural cracks to the ivory, including to the head, the dress and to the oval base. The head, body with clothes and legs of Louis XVI made of one piece of ivory. Both arms, the base, the scepter, the crown and the cushion made separately.
Two minor chips to the lace of his proper right hand. The cross at the top of the crown probably restored.
The base with screws to the underside to hold the different elements together.
Very good overall condition and nice scale.
