The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The central vase to the top needs to be refixed.
The gilding is rubbed and tarnished, especially to the friezes and the garlands.
The painting of the wooden frame is slightly worn with some losses revealing the white gesso underneath, and with some traces of dirt especially to the hollows.
As stated in the catalogue, there are some replacements to the mirror plates.
There are some sign of oxidation of the mercury to the central mirror plate, especially to the top.
