The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The website illustration is accurate. Good overall condition. There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use. As stated of the catalogue, the cover of one armchair is partly unsewn. There are several minor losses to the lacquer revealing the bare wood underneath. A few pearls are missing. Some pieces of the back have been detached and fixed. There are some cracks to the lacquer as expected. Structurally sound.
