The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good conditon, with the inevitable surface scratches and wear consistent with age.
The porcelain has some natural firing cracks to the raised work, and some chips to the underside rim.
The ormolu is tarnished but original. One of the handles in broken and the base was once removed and not fixed properly back together with the bowl so there is a gap between the base of the bowl and the mount.
