The central clock mounted with a Meissen porcelain group of lovers modelled by J.J. Kändler, flanked by four figures of children surrounded by ormolu branches applied with porcelain flowers, and surmounted by a Meissen model of a hen, supported by ormolu scrolling foliage, the enamel dial signed 'GILLE L'AINE A PARIS', the twin barrel movement with Brocot regulation and countwheel strike to bell; together with a pair of conforming candelabra each mounted with a Meissen figure of a Saxon miner, one playing a lute, both modelled by J.J. Kändler and P. Reineke
