The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
With the inevitable natural shrinkage cracks, surface marks, scratches and wear consisent with age. The associated porcelain bowl has some gilt rubbing to the border rim and minimal pitting, small flecks of pink paint loss, and the underside base has a broken off rim. The porcelain with elements associated in the 19th century, probably English.
The gallery is a little bent in some areas and the veneer to the top shows shrinkage cracks.
