The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This pair of pedestal columns is in good overall condition.
There are the inevitable marks, scratches and nicks consistent with age and use.
There is a slight variation in the cast decoration of the capitals, one having additional flowerheads.
The top of one is loose and presently detached.
Slight wear to the marble edges.
The ormolu with some rubbing and some minor casting flaws.
One column capital with more extensive rubbing to the ormolu.
Some small areas of infill repair to the marble of both columns.
Tarnishing to ormolu feet of both columns.
The bases with some minor chipping to the edge.
