The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In overall good condition and ready to use, with the inevitable surface scratches, marks and dents consistent with age and use.
Vase 1: restoration and overpaint to the centre of the body. Restoration to the handle to one side, with gilt paint.
Vase 2: overall good, some minor firing cracks to the hoop handles.
Both show minor losses of enamel and paint, and rubbing of gilding. Small retouches of paint.
Later drilled to accomodate wiring.
