Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall good condition, with the inevitable surface marks, scratches and wear consistent with age and use. The figures have some areas of rubbing to the patina, mainly to the extremities and edges. The left figure's right hand holding the cornucopia up has been drilled to fix a screw. The gilt mounts show some tarnishing. Both have previously been fitted for electrical wiring and therefore have some holes. The marble bases have minor chips to the rim, the left one has a repair to the marble at the lower section of the base to the front left.
