Each with rectangular padded calico covered back and seat, the plain seat-rail above 'broken' cabriole legs inlaid with arabesque strapwork and rosettes, on hoof feet, repairs

Provenance
Commissioned by Sir John Trevor (c.1637-1717) for Trevor House, later Powis House, Knightsbridge and probably removed to Brynkinalt, Denbighshire in the mid-18th century when Trevor House was given up;
Thence by descent at Brynkinalt;
Sotheby's London, Of Royal and Noble Descent, 19 January 2017, lot 336 (£37,500 inc. Premium).
