We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Both have expected minute nicks and scratches to the surface and natural inclusions in the stone.
White jade toggle:
- The toggle has some areas of polishing, particularly to the underside of the fruit, end of the stem and to the monkeys
Black and white toggle:
- There is a tiny area of loss to one branch which could be either a chip or a gauge mark
