The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is unframed. The paper is light-stained throughout the composition. Faint handling marks along the upper edge.
Minute dents in the lower left corner and lower and upper right corners. One pinpoint foxing mark near the lower part of the right edge of the paper. There is a short tear in the upper right corner of the paper. Two pinholes placed near the middle of the upper and lower edges of the image. An approx. 3 cm. long area on the middle right edge of the image and an approx. 2 cm. long area in the upper left corner appear to be restored. On the reverse, paper transfer along the edges and abrasions are probably due to previous mounting. Otherwise, it is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
