The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The surface is slightly dusty. There are loose layers of paper in the top of the right shoulder and underneath the left arm of the figure. There is some wear occasionally throughout the work due to handling. There is a scratch associated with a small dent on the left side of the figure, measuring approximately 7 cm. There are small gaps between paper layers throughout the work due to the artist's working method. There are handling marks on the underside of the work.
