There are two small losses of paper in the lower left quadrant close to the left edge, measuring approximately 0.3 x 0.7 cm. and 0.1 x 2 cm. There are pinpoint liftings of paper occasionally throughout the painting. There is a scratch in the upper right quadrant close to the right edge, measuring approximately 2.5 cm. There is a glossy stroke in the center of the work, presumably done by the artist. There is a small area with brown paper adhered to the painted layer in the lower left quadrant, measuring approximately 0.5 x 1.5 cm.
