The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is examined within the frame. The back and sides of the work cannot be checked due to framing status. There are hairline cracks throughout the composition, and a pinpoint paint loss near the centre. When examined under UV light, intermittent pinpoints of retouching appear to be near the centre and in the middle right, and a spot of retouching in the middle left above the signature. It is our opinion that the work is overall in good condition.
