The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work was not examined outside its frame. Surface variation, undulation, partial tears and soft creasing are inherent to the artist's choice of medium and working method. Minor wears and cracks are along the edges and to the corners. Small paint liftings and cracks with associated loss are visible throughout. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
