The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La toile est très légèrement détendue. Présence de quelques craquelures de séchage par endroits sur la surface, principalement le long des bords. Le collage très légèrement soulevé dans le quart supérieur droit ainsi que les marques de pliure visibles par endroits sur la surface sont inhérents à la méthode de travail de l'artiste. La surface présente quelques petites accrétions par endroits. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The canvas is very slightly loose. There are a few drying cracks in places to the surface, mostly along the edges. The slightly lifted collage to the upper right quadrant as well as the folding marks visible in places to the surface are inherent to the artist's working method. The surface presents a few small accretions in places. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
