The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. Présence de petites accrétions par endroits sur la surface, principalement dans la partie supérieure et dans le quart inférieur droit. De très légères traces de frottement sont visibles par endroits le long des bords. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dusty. There are small accretions in places to the surface, mostly to the upper part and to the lower right quadrant. Minor rubbing is visible in places along the edges. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
