The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. Un tissu de bordage noir court le long des bords. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. Quelques très fines craquelures de séchage, dont une très légèrement soulevée dans la partie supérieure au centre, sont visibles dans certains empâtements. Présence de très petites accrétions et bulles de séchage par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. A black framing paper is along the edges. The surface is very slightly dusty. A few very fine drying cracks, counting one slightly lifted to the upper part to the center, are visible in some impastos. There are very small accretions and drying bubbles in places to the surface. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
