The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue sans cadre. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La surface est très légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Quelques petites accrétions sont visibles par endroits sur la surface, principalement dans le quart supérieur gauche. Présence de traces de frottement associées à des manques de matière le long du bord droit et dans l'angle supérieur droit. Quelques très légères traces d'un ancien emballage sont principalement en périphérie de l'œuvre, et uniquement visibles en lumière rasante. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold without a frame. The work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dirty and dusty. A few small accretions are visible in places to the surface, mostly to the upper left quadrant. Rubbing associated to paint losses is visible along the right edge and to the upper right corner. A few very slight marks of a former packing are mostly to the periphery of the work, and only visible under racking light. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
