The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Quelques très petits manques de matière sont visibles dans la partie inférieure en contact avec le sol. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

All elements appear to be present. The work is structurally sound. The surface is slightly dirty and dusty, mostly to the recesses. There are small accretions and tiny spots of humidity in places to the surface, mostly to the recesses. Some areas of flaking, drying cracks and bubbles are visible in places to the surface. The irregularities to the surface such as the dents, cracks and small losses of the wood are inherent to the artist's chosen medium. A few very small medium losses are visible to lower part of the work in contact with the ground. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
