The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers par du ruban adhésif le long des bords. La feuille a jauni, principalement le long des bords. Les bords sont très légèrement irréguliers. Présence de légères traces de frottement et de manipulation par endroits en périphérie de l'œuvre. De toutes petites accrétions de surface et des points de piqûre sont par endroits et uniquement visibles en lumière rasante. Une légère trace de pliure est le long du bord gauche dans la partie inférieure, invisible lorsque l'œuvre est encadrée. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse with adhesive paper along the edges. The sheet has yellowed, mostly along the edges. The edges are very slightly irregular. There are slight handling marks and minor rubbing in places to the periphery of the work. Tiny surface accretions and minute spots of foxing are in places and only visible under racking light. A small folding mark is along the left edge to the lower part and invisible when the work is framed. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
