The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par des points de colle. Les bords sont très légèrement irréguliers. La feuille a très légèrement jauni. L'angle inférieur gauche présente une très légère usure. Deux très légères cassures sur papier, uniquement visibles en lumière rasante, sont dans les quarts supérieur droit et inférieur gauche. Le résidu de colle dans le quart supérieur gauche est inhérent à la méthode de travail de l'artiste. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support with points of glue. The edges are very slightly irregular. The sheet has very slightly yellowed. The lower left corner presents a very slight wear. Two very slight paper creases, only visible under racking light, are to the upper right and lower left quadrants. The glue residue to the upper left quadrant is inherent to the artist's working method. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
