The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers par de la colle le long des bords. La feuille présente une très légère ondulation. Une fine griffure est visible dans le quart inférieur droit. Un très petit manque et un très petit accroc de papier sont visibles le long du bord gauche. Quelques petites accrétions sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is fixed on the reverse with glue along the edges. The sheet undulates very slightly. A fine scratch is visible to the lower right quadrant. A minor paper loss and a small snag are visible along the left edge. A few small accretions are visible in places to the surface. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
