The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. Non examinée hors du cadre. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné et présente une très légère ondulation. Les bords sont irréguliers. Présence de trous de punaise de l'artiste le long du bord supérieur. Quelques accrétions sont visibles par endroits sur la surface, principalement vers l'angle inférieur droit. Les irrégularités de surface telles que les accrocs du papier dans la partie gauche, les traces de manipulation et les griffures sont inhérentes à la méthode de travail de l'artiste. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. Not examined out of the frame. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to the cardboard support and undulates very slightly. The edges are irregular. There are pin holes by the artist along the upper edge. There are a few accretions in places to the surface, mostly towards the lower right corner. The irregularities to the surface such as the paper snags to the left part, the handling marks and the scratches are inherent to the artist's working method. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
