The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par des charnières le long des bords. La feuille a très légèrement jauni et présente une très légère ondulation. Le bord gauche est très légèrement irrégulier. Les angles supérieurs présentent de très légères usures; l'angle supérieur droit présente deux très légères traces de pliure. Une fine cassure du papier est visible le long du bord gauche dans la partie inférieure. Quelques très légères traces de froissure sont par endroits sur la surface, et uniquement visibles en lumière rasante. Quelques très légères traces de manipulation de l'artiste sont visibles en périphérie de l'œuvre dans les parties blanches. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support along the edges. The sheet has very slightly yellowed and undulates very slightly. The left edge is very slightly irregular. The upper corners present very slight wears; the upper right corner presents two very fine folding marks. A very thin paper crease is visible along the left edge to the lower part; a few others very slight are in places to the surface, and only visible under racking light. A few very slight handling marks by the artist are visible to the periphery of the work to the white areas. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
