Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. Plume, encre de Chine et lavis d’encre sur papier. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par des charnières par endroits le long des bords. De l’épidermure le long du revers du bord supérieur due à un ancien montage. Légère décoloration de la feuille principalement visible sur l’extrémité des bords. Des trous de punaise de l’artiste sur les quatre angles. Quatre autres trous de punaise qui semblent avoir été réparés le long de l’extrémité du bord droit. Une ou deux accrétions de surface. L’encre est vive et fraiche sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît être en bonne condition générale.
This work is sold framed. Pen, India ink and ink wash on paper. Hinged to the mount in places at the reverse sheet edges. Some paper skinning along the upper reverse edge due to a previous mount. Some pale discolouration of the paper mainly visible at the extreme edges. The artist’s pin holes to the four corners. Four further pin holes which seem to have been repaired along the extreme right edge. One or two spots of surface accretion. The ink is strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that this works appears to be in a generally good condition.
