The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La toile présente une très légère ondulation. La surface est très légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Quelques très fines craquelures de séchage sont visibles par endroits sur la surface, dont une accompagnée de points de manque de matière dans le quart supérieur gauche. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The canvas undulates very slightly. The surface is very slightly dirty and dusty. There are very fine drying cracks in places to the surface, counting one accompanied with a minor point of paint losses to the upper left quadrant. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
