The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La surface est très légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Une très légère trace de frottement, accompagnée d'un point de manque de matière dans l'angle, est visible le long du bord droit, dans la partie supérieure. Présence de quelques petites accrétions par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. This work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dirty and dusty. Minor rubbing, accompanied with a point of paint loss to the corner, is visible along the right edge, to the upper part. There are a few small accretions in places to the surface. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
