The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La surface est légèrement poussiéreuse. Quelques très fines bulles et craquelures de séchage sont visibles dans certains empâtements jaunes. Une très petite craquelure très légèrement soulevée est vers le bord inférieur à gauche. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The surface is slightly dusty. Tiny drying bubbles and cracks are visible in some yellow impastos. A very slightly lifted and small drying crack is towards the lower edge to the left. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
