Raised on three short pierced feet, with a mythical beast-form spout and a chilong-form handle; incised on each side with an archaistic inscription followed by a cyclical date gengwu (1990) and the two artists' signatures respectively, the base with a square seal mark 'Zhou Guizhen zao (made by Zhou Guizhen)' and a seal 'Guizhen' on the interior of the cover
