The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheet
- the screenprinted surface in very good condition
- there is a very faint 'polishing mark' in the grey to the left of Christ's feet, otherwise with no apparent scuffs
- minor discolouration at the right and lower sheet edges (the original paper tone where covered by the frame)
- a small handling crease at the lower sheet edge extending just into the subject (mainly visible in a raking light)
- an indentation in the margin at upper left (only visible in a raking light)
- a couple of fibres in the paper in Christ's chest (intrinsic to the paper and not a condition issue)
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
This work is offered in a metal frame, with Perspex.
