The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the printed surface in very good condition, with no apparent scuffs
- some soft handling creases in places, mainly in the left margin and a couple of soft handling indentations in the cream background at left (mainly visible in a raking light)
- hinged in two places at the upper sheet edge on the reverse, with associated indentations showing through on the front at the upper sheet edge
