The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the full sheet
- a couple of very faint vertical creases near the left sheet edge in the background (only visible in a raking light)
- a short and unobtrusive 5 mm. repaired nick at the lower sheet edge, skillfully backed on the reverse and with touches of white recto
- on the reverse, some very faint and unobtrusive circular marks at the corners, possibly associated with old blu-tack
