The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- in a raking light, a very soft diagonal crease at the upper right corner (not visible in normal lighting)
- a pale yellow spot at the upper sheet edge at left (possibly pigment)
- float mounted with Japanese paper hinges, with some remains of associated old hinges
