The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue entry:
- the full sheet
- faint remains of mould and foxing across the sheet, visible upon close inspection in the black and unprinted areas (the sheet has been gently cleaned, and undergone minor retouching but traces of the mould damage remains)
- a short flattened crease at the upper left corner
- some minor skinned spots on the reverse, associated with having previously been spot glued
