The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the full sheets
- one plate, 100 Years Ago, with a couple of tiny any unobtrusive pinpoint foxmarks in the upper blue background
- hinged with fabric tape at places along the sheet edges on the reverse
- Surfer examined out of the frame; the others have been examined under a raking light, but have not been examined out of the frames
