Lot Essay

"On December 14, 1992, the artist signed both the TP and the RTP as 'OK to Print.' The edition was printed but remained unsigned at his death on March 30, 1993. On September 13, 1993, all unsigned prints were screenprinted with the estate stamp approved by Phyllis Diebenkorn, the artist's widow, and subsequently numbered by the Gemini curator" (Gemini G.E.L.
