The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description, each with full margins, in generally very good condition, framed

I: two pinpoint foxmarks in the margins, adhesive remains in places on the reverse lower sheet edge

II: the reverse lower sheet edge adhered to the support

III: a very pale area of discoloration in the right margin, adhesive remains in places on the reverse lower sheet edge

IV: very occasional areas of pale discoloration in the upper and left margins, adhesive remains and an area of faint rubbing in places on the reverse lower sheet edge, hinged to the support on the reverse upper sheet corners (slightly showing through)

V: very occasional pinpoint foxmarks in places in the margin, an area of discoloration at the extreme upper sheet edge, the reverse lower sheet edge adhered to the support
