The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

- the full sheet, the colours bright and fresh, the subject in very good condition
- pale time staining at the extreme upper and right sheet edges, more distinctly visible on the reverse, very pale occasional backboard staining
- a couple of tiny and unobtrusive dents along the right sheet edge, the extreme tip of the lower left corner slightly creased
- a tiny and unobtrusive pale stain at the lower left sheet edge and some minor traces of surface dirt in places in the margins
- a few tiny areas of minor skinning at the sheet edges on the reverse
