The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue entry:
- the full sheet
- a 4 cm. irregular tear in right margin, and another 1.5 cm. tear below, with an associated skinned area on the reverse
- some minor staining (fingerprints?) at places along the sheet edges
- some glitter particles on the spots (as is common)
- a small and unobtrusive crease at the lower left corner (mainly visible in a raking light)
- hinged at the upper edge on the reverse
