The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheet, a deckle edge below, the colours bright and fresh
- the sheet very slightly toned, a few very pale pinpoint foxmarks in the lower left margin
- occasional soft and unobtrusive creasing in the margins in places
- the sheet fixed at the upper sheet edge on the reverse to a card support (it is tightly fixed so not possible to examine, but probably fixed with adhesive as there is no trace of a hinge visible)
- remains of old hinges at the upper sheet edge on the reverse, with associated soft skinning
Otherwise as described and in good condition, framed.
