The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheet, printed to the sheet edges (as issued)
- some minor scuffs in the black in places and some discolorations along the extreme sheet edges, some pale time staining at the lower sheet edge, pale time and mount staining on the reverse
- a short crease with an associated hole at the lower right sheet edge, a short nick at the lower right sheet edge (5 mm.)
- a few very soft creases in places
