The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A: a foxmark at the upper left sheet edge

B: two very minor areas of rubbing in the upper margin

C: a very minor paper imperfection in the right margin

D: a very minor occlusion towards the right image edge, a foxmark in the lower right margin, a pinpoint foxmark in the lower left margin, a minor discoloration on the reverse lower right sheet corner (not showing through)

E: a small area of pale foxmarks towards the right sheet edge, occasional very pale foxmarks in places in the margins (primarily visible under ultraviolet light), a pale area of discoloration at the lower right sheet corner on the blindstamp

F: occasional very pale unobtrusive foxmarks in places in the margins

G: occasional very minor rubbed spots in the margins

H: occasional foxmarks in places in the margins

I: occasional very pale unobtrusive foxmarks in places in the margins

J: two foxmark in the lower margin, occasional minor foxmarks at the extreme sheet edges

K: two very pale foxmarks in the lower margin

L: occasional foxmarks in places in the margins, a small area of very minor rubbing in the lower margin
