"The artists included in the portfolio have significant international reputations and their generosity in contributing their time and energy demonstrates their awareness of the project’s great importance. As print has always played a crucial role in the dissemination of ideas and ideologies, it is appropriate for Rivington Place to use fine print as a vehicle for simultaneously fundraising and raising awareness of contemporary cultural issues. All the artists involved have worked to a greater or lesser degree with printmaking techniques before coming to Rivington Place Portfolio.
