The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Some old inactive work damage; not extensive and most apparent on feet. The veneer with some scattered marks, scratches, dents, abrasions and some restorations. The marquetry with some losses, cracks, scattered restorations, patches and infill throughout. Some later heightening in areas. The carving with some abrasions, losses, minor chips and losses; not extensive. Some replacements to moldings of cresting. The molded divider to larger upper doors and the inner plain drawers probably later. The mounts re-gilt and now with some rubbing, oxidation and traces of surface dirt.
