The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Presenting well overall, ready to place. The globe with the expected fading, yellowing, light scratches, scuffs and general wear; some losses throughout, particularly over Europe and Antarctic. General tight craquelure to the surface. The stand in good overall condition, with scattered age and construction cracks. Overall with general marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs consistent with age and use, some flaking to the finish. Overall good condition, ready to place.
